Our Health Guarantee | Safeguarding your new Mini Schnuazer, Mastiff or French Bulldog Puppy
At The Woof Gang, the health and well-being of our puppies is something we take very seriously. We understand that bringing home a new puppy is both exciting and emotional, and you deserve peace of mind as you welcome your new family member.
Our goal is to raise happy, healthy puppies and to be fully transparent about what our health guarantee covers. Below, we explain our guarantee in simple, everyday language so you know exactly what to expect.
What Our Health Guarantee Means for You
First Vet Visit
Once your puppy goes home, you must schedule a veterinary exam within 7 days. This visit is at your expense, and we ask that you send us a copy of the vet’s report. This protects both you and us. It ensures your puppy was healthy at the time of transfer and gives your veterinarian a starting point for future care.If this visit is not completed within 7 days, the health guarantee becomes void.
What Is Covered
We provide a one-year genetic health guarantee.
This means if your puppy is diagnosed within the first 12 months of life with a serious hereditary condition that is confirmed by two licensed veterinarians, and the condition is severe enough to greatly affect quality of life, we will:
-
Replace your puppy with another puppy of equal value, or
-
Refund the original purchase price (shipping and veterinary expenses are not included)
The decision between replacement or refund is at the breeder’s discretion. In the rare event this occurs, the puppy must be returned to us.
What Is Not Covered
Like all puppies, they can be exposed to common environmental conditions once they leave our care.
Our guarantee does not cover:
-
Giardia
-
Coccidia
-
Worms
-
Fleas, ticks, or mites
-
Minor illnesses
-
Injuries
-
Environmental or situational health issues
Parasites, for example, are very common in puppies and can be picked up from grass, soil, travel, vet clinics, or new environments. These are not genetic conditions and are not considered breeder negligence.
Your Responsibilities as a Puppy Owner
To keep the guarantee valid, we ask that you:
-
Provide proper nutrition
-
Keep up with regular veterinary care
-
Follow an appropriate vaccination schedule
-
Provide a safe, clean, loving environment
-
Ensure your puppy is not neglected or improperly cared for
Proper care plays a huge role in your puppy’s long-term health.
Our Lifetime Commitment
If at any point in your dog’s life you are unable to care for them, we require that the puppy be returned to The Woof Gang rather than surrendered to a shelter or rehomed without our approval.
We believe in lifetime responsibility for every puppy we raise.
